Be aware. Each Merchant is a contribution to the local culture of our community–take time to learn more about them.
Have an attitude of gratitude. Show your appreciate each and every time you visit a Merchant with good ol’ fashioned politeness.
Know the deal. The Urban Card cannot be applied to custom orders or special events. Incentives for each Merchant can be found on the online directory or our printable Urban Guide. Please be courteous of the ‘no substitutions’ rule.
Tip like a local. Good service deserves 15-20% of the pre-discounted amount.
Be mindful. Sip your coffee from a mug and pass on the paper or plastic whenever possible–it cuts down on cost (and reduces environmental impact)
Keep coming back. The Urban Card is good for unlimited use at your favorite spots. Take this as an opportunity to get to know the owners and their employees, and allow them to get to know you.
No double dippin’. The Urban Card is a stand-alone deal and cannot be combined with any other promotion or discounted offer.
